What Underscore is
Underscore introduces corporate clients to live musicians for workplace events. We are an introduction and coordination service, not a booking agency, employment agency, or party to any contract between a client and a performer.
Enquiries
Submitting an enquiry form does not create any contract, obligation, or agreement between you and Underscore. It is an expression of interest only. No booking is confirmed until both parties have agreed terms in writing and any deposit has been received.
Our role
We match your brief to suitable acts from our network, provide introductions, and support logistics. The agreement for the performance — fees, cancellation terms, technical requirements — is between you and the musician directly. We will make the terms clear before you commit.
Pricing
All pricing is quoted per enquiry and is subject to availability. Quotes are valid for 7 days. We do not publish fixed pricing because acts, durations, and logistics vary.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms are set per booking and will be confirmed in writing before any payment is taken. As a general guide: cancellations with more than 4 weeks notice incur no fee; cancellations within 4 weeks may incur a partial fee to cover the musician's held date.
Limitation of liability
Underscore is not liable for any loss arising from a performer cancelling, running late, or delivering a performance that does not meet expectations. We will always work to find a replacement at short notice, but we cannot guarantee availability.
A note on company status
Underscore is currently operating as an unregistered sole trader pending formal company incorporation. These terms will be updated with full legal detail — including governing law, jurisdiction, and registered company details — once that is complete.
